As you might not know, I am cursed when it comes to Nsync concerts. For No Strings Attached, someone bailed on me. For Pop Oddessy, they canceled my concert. So for this concert, I had wicked good seats at the Fleet Center in Boston. The lower level of balcony seats, and we had row 1 seats 1-3. And they were right across from the stage. April 16th rolls around, and I'm convinced. I'm actually going to go to see Nsync. My friend Michelle and her mom picked us up at 4, and the concert was 7:30. We're ALMOST there, almost to the T station, and BAM, the car stops and we need to pull over. I was so scared because we were on the side of the highway, it was 5:30 ish, and we needed to wait for a tow truck. Thank goodness for cell phones, what would we do without 'em? I called my dad, who picked us up and drove us to the T station, while the car was towed to a nearby gas station. I love my dad, he is so cool for driving us there then picking us p at the same T station at midnight. So an hour later, the T stops at the Fleet Center (by the way, these two little girls came on the T wearing Nsync shirts, and carrying cameras, they were so cute. I think we scared them though :) ) When we pulled to our stop, music from radio station's tents were BLASTING, a limo pulled up (it wasn't Nsync, we know but hey- we could dream.) and we saw the tour busses parked out back. We bought programs which had me excited cause Justin had his curly hair back, and we got food, stickers, keychains, and 40 dollars later, we were sitting and ready for Nsync.
(Ignore my horrific drawing abilities) This is the stage. Keep in mind that there are seats ALL around it, but hey, I figured you'd figure that out. So P-Diddy performed, he was so good. I'm not a huge fan, but he did good, I give the guy credit. He put on an amazing show, awesome pyro, and dedicated a song to those lost anywhere in the worl, but specifically 9-11. Then it was Nsync. I mean, it's one thing to see them on a poster, but it's a completly diffrent matter to see them in person, and we had such good seats. They opened with smoke on the stage, but when I squinted, five silloettes could be seen, and the screams began. They opened with Do Your Thing, and I think they didn't stay on the actual stage at all, they always ran around. Next it was Bye Bye Bye, and of COURSE we were dancing along. Then It's Gonna Be Me, and when Justin said "it's gonna be ME" the screams were just a roar, it wasn't individual shrieks, but a roar. After singing For the Girl Who Has Everything, God Must Have Spent..(also dedicated to 9-11), Tearin' Up My Heart, Celebrity, and may I say I was pissed cause that's the song Wade sings in, and Joey sang his parts. Michelle and I were ready to go scream "we want WADE!!!", but that's a whole OTHER matter and Up Against the Wall, they left, and a minute later came back wearing black suits, and said "people say we're like the Beatles, it's time we payed them a propper tribute, and then the BEST part of the night happened. The sound on chains moving echoed in the arena, and another stage lowered from the ceiling, MUCH closer to where we were sitting!!!
Nsync walked out on that platform/walkway thing, and sang I Wanna Hold Your Hand while walking toward the second stage, and once they got to it, Michelle and I flipped out. They were right in front of us. I mean, RIGHT in front of us. If I threw something, it would have hit them. We were so close I could see their faces, and the brown under the blonde in Lance's hair. Me and Michelle were kickin' ourselves for not taking a camera. Then they sang Hey Jude, Twist and Shout which was so funny, they were all doin' the twist on the little stage, it was hilarious. Then My Girl, which they sang PERFECTLY, The Way You Do The Things You Do, and I Can't Get Next To You. That's six songs DIRECTLY in front of us. Then, *sniff* they went backstage, Michelle and I waved bye-bye. When they came back onstage, they sang Sailing (which, my mother informed me, is that they're singing someone elses song.... greeeeat) and Tell Me, Tell Me Baby, which opened with JC singing/ recording the song in the studio on the big screen. I have a new appreciation for the man. He kicks some major butt. No Strings Attached was next, and I must say, was hillarious because bungi cords dropped from the ceiling, and they swung on them out in front of the stage above the crowd like 5 Tarzans. Made me laugh.

How cute are they??? NO I did not take the pic |
This I Promise You was started and, I swear, it's a miracle I didn't start BAWLING right then and there. I love that song so much, it's my favorite. Well, okay not my favorite, that would be There You'll Be by Faith Hill, for other....reasons *cough* lovedthemovie *cough* But seriously, it's my fav Nsync song, and Justin had us sing along, and I sang too even though i...um...can't, but hey, no one could hear....I can't describe how sad and happy it made me. That's going to be my song played for my wedding one day. That lucky, LUCKY guy. But, they didn't even finish the song!!! You know the part where JC sings "without you in my life, baby, I just wouldn't be livin' at all..." THEY STOPPED THE SONG and went into the next. That made me mad cause I love that song, and they just went right into I Drive Myself Crazy. Another good song, Chris actually sings in it.
JRT having us sing along to This I Promise You.... |

Wearing that hat. And I DID NOT take this pic, I couldn't have a camera, remember??? |
Next the guys were sitting on stage, and Justin was just looking at us and shaking his head. Ya see, there were two Nsync shows in Boston, and we had the second. He said "They're sayin' that last night's crowd was louder, but I don't know WHERE they got that from because..... (screams from crowd) because I think this is the loudest we have seen so far." I can now PROUDLY say I am a loud Bostonian. Lol!!! Anyways, they were sitting, and Chris asked what day it was. He was like- I think it's Tuesday. It's Tuesday right? Oh in that case.... It's storytime Tuesday with.. Lance!!! And Lance just looked at him like- WHAT??? So Chris said- Yea you know, tell a story with... like the three little pigs, and they found the magical beans, and there was this beanstalk.... And he went on and on about these stories that were ALL mixed up. He also said- Then there were the five Nsync'ers. I wanna be the poppa Nsync, and Lnce, you can be the baby Nsync. Too funny cause Lance laughed so hard he almost fell off the stool. So JC said "Well, I know a real story, but we can sit here all night and talk!!! Do you wanna hear the story?" And of course, EVERYONE screamed, including the annoying thirteen year olds behind us who screached "We love you Justin!!!" So much to Chris' protest about not teling a story about beans, JC told us his story about how Nsync loves the city of New Orleans, and then told us how (I'm sorry, but I love using us in this case, it makes me feel included :) ) they did their favorite song to I Want You Back but to the style of the blues. It was so cool. Then after they sang that Chris looked all sad and they asked him what was wrong, and he said- You didn't tell the story with my magical beans..... BEANS BEANS THE MAGICAL FRUIT, THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE YOU TOOT!!! And incredably proud of himslef, he took a bow. At that point I realized I had lost all respect for that man. Love him to death, but he has lost ALL his marbles.
It was the encore next, and it began with Gone. Now, I love Justin as much as the next girl does, but he is still a part of Nsync, there is no need to be on stage ALL by himself. I understand the whole solo thing or whatever, but hey, it ain't happenin' yet!!! So, now this made me laugh so hard, for some odd reason in his mid, Justin Timberlake decided to stick his head into the crowd of girls beside the stage......... Okay forst of all, what was he thinking. Someone could have pulled his shirt and pulled him off the stage and then, he wouldn't have come out alive. Second, girls get things called manicures. They have long nails. They very easily could have scratched his face. THAT was be sad. But, I'm past that now, the boy is just fine and dandy, so we move on. Next they sat again, and yet, didn't finish Gone They had "but the truth remains you're...". And I couldn't hear, but some girls screamed something at Justin from the front frow and he laughed at them, then Chris wanted to know what was goin' on, so Justin said, and I quote "Ya know, I CAN hear you, and I am NOT takin' it off!!! So the girls jumped up and down screaming, and Justin finally said- FINE!!!! Then stepped back, and ran his fingers along the rim of his hat, and with one move tossed it along the stage floor. How damn cute is that? Seriously. So after that little "strip tease" hehehe, I'm evil, I know and love it, they sat, and made fun of us when he talked with a Boston accent. Then Justin says that JC should finish the song, which was the end of Gone. And JC's all- no way man, you go ahead, so Justin and Chris (I have no idea why Chris joined in, but hey, they guy is 30 and is in a boy band. Ya gotta love him) And they were yelling back and forth "You finish the song!!!" Until a good few minutes, Justin goes "okay, we're gonna count to three and JC will finish the song." And Chris goes "1, 2, 3!!!!" And JC just leans back and looks at him like- no way. So Justin has a countdown with the crowd and everyone goes 1....2...3 and JC belts out the last word (which is "gone") And made me fall in love with him cause he carried that note so long and so perfect, *sigh* I love him to death now.
I feel like I'm typing a five paragraph essay.... jeez.... anyways, Girlfriend was next, an awesome song if you ask me. They had the video playing, then when they were done the video part with Nelly came on, which I love. Then it hit us. They hadn't yet done Pop, the BEST song off of Celebrity!!!! The arena was pitch black, then on the screen came the words Dirty Pop. The noise was so.... I want to say loud, but it wasn't loud really, it was just like a sudden burst of energy and you could not hear a thing if you needed to. By the end of Pop, you couldn't hear them sing. They dance so cool, it's my man Wade at work. When they were saying thank you and stuff, we made a mad dash to the T station, alsmost getting lost, but we survived, and it was WORTH IT!!!! And THAT my friends, was no fiction.
