"Sarah, what are you doing?" You're gonna fall." A little boy with curly brown hair and blue eyes giggled. He was looking at his best friend five feet up in a tree. She was reaching for a ball that he threw up there, on purpose.

"Justin, if I fall I'm gonna sue you. You threw the ball up here!" She lost her footing and clung onto the base of the tree, She was in no real danger, only a few feet up, but to a six year old, that was up high.

"You can't sue me if you're dead."

"True... so I'll have my mom and daddy sue you. So there!" She smiled with triumph as she grabbed the ball and threw it back to the ground below. She jumped down and staggered backwards. Justin ran over and caught her, his eight-year old body stronger than hers.

"I'll always be here to catch you when you fall." He whispered, meaning every word.

Twelve years later
"JC! Have you seen Justin?" Sarah asked, fixing her tanktop strap and pulling down her shorts.

"Justin... no. Thank god, not yet. Why?" JC smiled, sipping his coffee.

"Cause it's five thirty, which is way too early for me, and he's not here where he needs to be." She sighed, laying her eyes on his coffee. He held it ot, and she gladly accepted, taking a sip.

"Thanks. Now I'm off AGAIN." She stressed and handed him back his coffee. She walked down the long hallways, lookin in every room she passed. A man with a buzz cut walked in front of her. She could only see his back, so she decided to ask him.

"Umm... excuse me sir? Have you seen Justin anywhere?" The man turned around and gave her his million dollar smile, the only one Justin could. She stared at him, her mouth hanging open.

"You know, you can catch flies like that." Justin smiled.

"Wha-what did you DO Justin?!"

"Well, I woke up this morning. Took a shower, got dressed-"

"What did you do to your head smart-ass?"

"Shaved it. Like it?" She sighed and ran her hand over the extremly short hair.

"Yes... I do. It's different," she stood back, "yea I love it. Has anyone else seen you yet?" He was about to answer as Lance walked in front of them.

"Ooops.. sorry Sarah for interupting. Hey, I haven't seen you around here... Justin?! What did you do?!!" Lance asked, looking at Justin strangely.

"Why is everyone asking me this? I woke up this morning, took a-"

"Your head, moron."

"What do you think? Lance, you're the smart one. Figure it out." Sarah followed behind the two as they continued arguing, and her cell phone rang. Being the manager of touring, she was always with the boys.

"Hello?... Mom? Hi!!! Oh, wow, I haven't talked to you for so long... yea, of course. How's Justin doing? Fine. Yea... ok I'll make sure we visit you when we're out there. I gotta go, mom. The boys are doing "Pop" today... the new song... ok, love you too. Yes, Justin loves you also. Bye." She hung up and waved the phone at Justin.

"You, buddy, are visiting mom with me." He nodded as she pulled papers out of her bag, and held the door open for Justin and Lance. She threw her bag in a chair as she entered the recording studio, and took a seat in front of the eqiupment.

"Um... Sarah? You're not needed here." The producer said.

"Sorry, if Wade's here, so am I." She watched the boys as they stood around the microphones, on the other side of the glass. The producer sighed as he began the music. She giggled when Justin winked at her and began to sing. Wade pulled up a chair next to her and bobbed his head to the music.

"Makes you wanna sing too huh Wade?" Sarah asked.

"Yea... except I dance, not sing." He smiled.

Five hours later
"Come on JC, you can hit these notes. We're gonna do it until we get it right." Sarah sighed as she leaned against Justin's shoulder and closed her eyes. JC was the only one left, and he was draging. She thought of a way to help him, and thought of it. She opened her eyes and got up to the equipment. Sarah leaned toward a speaker and pressed the "on" button.

"Hey JC, I'm goin to Starbucks. Want anything?"

"Yea, that'd be awesome. Vanilla frapachino. She nodded and picked up her purse.

"Hey, hey! What about us?" Justin asked, pouting.

"Fine...lemme get some paper, babies. OK! What does everyone want?" Sarah asked as she wrote down everyone's names.

"Same as JC." Justin said.

"Large regular with milk and extra sugar." Lance sighed.

"Wild cherry Pepsi." Chris said

"What, you think I'm gonna make a special trip just for you?!" She asked, looking up from her paper.

"Yes. Thank you." Chris replied.

"No promises Chris. Anyways... Joey?"

"Ummm medium hazelnut."

"Can I order too?" Wade asked. Sarah nodded, still writing Joey's order.

"In THAT case... I'll have a root beer." Wade smiled. Sarah looked completely annoyed not.

"What am I.. a freakin slave? My god, sometimes. Sometimes-" she said as she walked out the door, jangling her keys.

Half an hour later
"Here y'all are. Dig in. Oh, and Chris and Wade, I was feeling generous today." She said as she handed them their sodas.

"You are a god." JC smiled as he walked out of the recording studio and chugged down his coffee.
After that, he wwent back to recording, and Sarah rested her head on Justin's shoulder.

"Ok, I'm not a human pillow." Justin said, looking down at her.

"No, you're not. But I got up at four thirty, so you're it for now."

"I'm honored."

"You should be. So... what time is it?"

"Eleven fifteen," Chris replied, "At night." He stressed. Sarah giggled when she heard snoring. Lance had fallen asleep and was letting everyone know it. Chris got up to bother him, but Sarah protested.

"Leave 'em alone Kirkpatrick."

"And gimme one good reason."

"I'll give you a hint. It envolves pain." She smiled as she snuggled against Justin's arm, and closed her eyes.

"Get the hell away fom her Chris." Justin warned, yawning.

"Come on! You people are too touchy. She looks so peaceful... I wanna mess it up!"

"I can and will kick you." Srah said through colsed eyes.

"Yea, I love you too." Chris sighed as he sat down.

"I never said I loved you!" She laughed.

"Yea... you know you like me the best." He said, sipping his Pepsi.

"Uh-huh. That must be it. Oh baby." She said, and opened her eyes. Wade had dozed off, as well as Justin. JC was leaning to one side, ready to fall asleep.

"Okay... JC's done for now. You can all go home." The producer announced.

"Finally." JC sighed as he exited the recording booth. Chris stood up and yawned, then followed him out the door. Joey blinked a few times, the decided it was best to leave. Sarah glanced around to find Wade, Lance and Justin still asleep.

"Okay... hey BOYS!!! Wake UP!!!" She screamed. Wade and Lance both jumped to their feet and stared at her.

"Okay, go to JC's house. I'll follow you there." She smiled as they walked out the door at the same time, crashing into each other.

"I'll have to take that as a yes. Oh sunshine....." She looked up at Justin. He was still sleeping, and drooling.

"Oh ew. What a major turn on. Yuck. Justin wake up!!!!" She yelled. Justin jumped and slowly opened his eyes.

"Oh wow. You must be one of those people who are oh so pleasent in the morning. Come on sweetie, let's go to JC's." Justin stood up and walked toward the doorway wobling.

"Come here, lemme help-"

"No. I can do it Sarah. I'm not drunk or anything." He said as he pulled his arm away, and collided with the doorway. Sarah stood there and thought out loud.

"You know, maybe someone spiked your drink. Maybe Wade did. Yea-that's it!!" She grinned.

"Yea yea yea." He sighed and stood up.

"Bad hangover hun?"

"You have no idea." He yawned, and let her help him into help Dodge Carivan.

"Wake me up when we get there." He yawned and fell asleep again.

"Aye aye sir." She saluted and jumped into the drivers seat. She turned on the car a
nd zoomed down the long road to the intersection.

"Oh crap... Justin? Justin you awake?" She looked back to see him sound asleep. No point of waking him.

"Okay then, I'll just have to call Jayce." Sarah pulled a cell phone out of her pocketbook.

"Hey JC.... no I'm on my way, but my directions to your new house, well, they kinda fell asleep... no I just... okay... okay okay okay..... yep. I'm at the intersection outside the studio.. I know Jayce... thank you. Bye." She hung up the phone and put it back in her bag. She pulled out a magazine and started reading.

Ten minutes later
A jeep cheroke puled beside her and rolled down the window.

"Hey stranger. Long time on see." JC smiled.

"JC, you're a god." She laughed.

"I know... now follow me okay?" And with that, he pulled away. Sarh looked into her mirror to see Justin still asleep.

"Sleepin Beauty is about to be woken up wether he likes it or not."

Ten Minutes Later
Sarah pulled up the long driveway up to a three story house.

"Holy crap." She muttered to herself, and shook her head in disbelief.

"It's JC, what can ya expect?" Justin asked, looking over her shoulder.

"Woah!!!! When'd you wake up?" She screamed.

"Now. I've never seen JC's new house before. It's nice." He smiled. She giggled and parked along the side.

"Now cause there's no parking garage, I'm gonna have to park here." She sighed and turned off the ignition.

"Awww poor Sarah.... hey is that a pool?!! It is!!! Yea!!!" He started jumping up and down.

"Not in the car please, get out!!!" She laughed and opened her door. Justin leaped out of the car and ran by her side.

"First, we're gonna swim. Then... then we're gonna play in the game room and play with the video games.. then-"

"Waitaminute. What makes you think JC has an arcade in his house?"

"Come on... it's JC." He smiled and opened the front door.

"I think we need a map to find the living room." Justin said looking at the high ceiling. A staircase was to the left, and spiraled to the next floor. Dark green walls and tiled floors greeted them.

An hour later
"Okay, here's your room Sarah.... now the question is, do you wanna share it with Wade, Justin or Chris?" JC asked as the five of them stood in front of an extra bedroom.

"Ummmmmm.... well Justin snores, so he's out. Chris,... Chris scares me, so I'm gonna have to go with Wade." She laughed.

Sarah opened the door to their room, and put her bags next to one of the beds.

"Oh.... my....God!!!!" Wade yelled, racing across the room past her, standing in front of a video arcade game, a popcorn machine and an extra large television. Sarah glanced around, dark blue walls, two beds, king sized no doubt, and white carpet. She smiled to herself and watched Wade sit down in front of the tv, taking it all in.

"I love JC!!!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. Wade opened the cabinet doors underneath the tv, pulling out dvd's.

"Hey... this isn't even out yet." Wade thought to himself as he pondered how JC could have gotten it. Sarah looked at the door that joined another room to it. Justin poked his head in and glanced around.

"Wade, shut up man. I can hear you from my room.... what the hell? How did you get a popcorn machine?" Justin asked. Wade pulled out a dvd and looked it over.

"'Meet the Parents' anyone?" Wade asked. Sarah jumped on her bed and rested her chin on her hands, laying on her stomach.

"Me me me!!!!" She laughed. Wade turned on the tv and looked at Justin.

"No thanks man. I'm gonna sleep." Justin said goodnight and closed the door. Sarah giggled and watched as Wade jumped up and down, watching the popcorn pop. She grinned and yawned. One thirty. Good thing she had the day off with from the boys tomorrow.

The next morning

Justin opened his eyes and wondered why no one had come to wake him up. They did have to go to the studio for photos. He turned the clock to face him.

Seven thirty? He asked himself, then shook his head, that cant be right, because the guys would have woken him up by now. He sat up and rested on his elbows, looking across the room at the other bed for Lance. The bed was empty, and Justin panicked. He scrambled to get out of bed, and raced down the staircase, skidding across the wooden floor. Justin raced into the kitchen to see JC and Lance talking at the table, eating pancakes.

"What... What are you guys doing?!!" Justin yelled, breathing quickly. JC looked at Lance, then back at his plate in front of him.

"Ummm... having breakfast.... I think. Want some?" He asked, pointing to the stack of pancakes on the kitchen counter.

"We need to leave now!!!!!" Justin shouted and ran back into the hallway. JC looked at Lance, and thought about what Justin had said.

"Oh no." JC thought aloud, and dropped his fork in his plate, jumping to his feet. Lance looked at his plate and looked at JC.

"We were supposed to be at the studio an hour ago!!!" JC panicked and ran down the hall after Justin. Lance realized he was dressed and ready for the day, so he shrugged his shoulders, and continued eating his breakfast. Justin sprinted up the stairs two at a time, yelling for everyone to wake up. Sarah blinked her eyes as she woke up from the noise, and put her pillow over her head.

"Juuuussstttttiiiiinnnnnn" She wined, hoping hed be quiet. She heard Wade stand up, walk over to the door and swing it shut. Sarah looked out from under her pillow and watched Wade as he walked back to his bed, not quite awake. He had on a white wife beater and black boxers. She smiled to herself and turned over, trying to go back to sleep. The door swung open, and JC looked inside.

"Joey, Chris?" He asked in a low voice, not recognizing the people under the covers. Sarah waved her hand at him to go away.

"Sarah?" JC asked in a lower voice, almost a whisper. She mumbled something into her pillow and gave him a thumbs up.

"Sorry. I thought you were Chris. Were leavin so bye!!" JC shut the door and she fell back asleep.

An hour later

Sarah opened her eyes to the sunlight seeping in through the open window. She yawned and sat up. Wade was still asleep, but his knees were up to his chest, covers at his feet. She stood up and shut the window slowly, making sure she didnt wake him up, and stretched. She pulled down her white tank top and straightened her blue fleece pajama pants with Tigger on them. She tiptoed across the rug to Wades bed, pulled the covers around him and opened the door to leave the room. She clicked the door shut behind her walked down the staircase to the kitchen. A meow came from the hallway.

"Hey Grendal, how are you?" She smiled as she bent down to pick up the friendly cat. He purred as she rubbed his head.

"Lonely here, huh?" She asked as she placed him on the ground. He ran over to his bowl and rubbed against it.

"Jayce didnt feed you huh?" She asked, searching his kitchen for some cat food.

"Grendal, where's your food?" She asked the cat, expecting an answer.

"In the cabinet above the sink." Someone said as Sarah looked up. Wade had entered the room, grabbing a plate and forking pancakes onto it.

"You're awake?" Sarah asked as she poured some of the food in the cats dish.

"Nope." Wade replied with a mouthful of food. The phone rang as she set the dish on the ground. She reached across the counter and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Is this JCs house?" A young girls voice asked excitedly.

"No, JC who?" Sarah played along.

"JC from Nsync, duh!!!"

"Oh, duh!!! Ha ha ha- no this isnt his house. Bye now." She sighed and hung up the phone.

"Hoo uzz at?" Wade asked with a mouthful of food.

"Lesse. I think that was. Who was that? . Some teenybopper." She sighed and reached for a plate. The phone rang again and she put her plate on the table.

I"f youre looking for a pop star this is not his house." Sarah sighed into the phone.

"Too bad." A voice on the other line replied.

"Oh hey Justin!!!" Sarah smiled.

"Nothin."

"Arent you at the photo shoot?" She asked, putting pancakes in her dish.

"Yep. We are. This is soooo great," he sighed, "These people are like, 'Okay kid, go stand on the X and smile at the camera!!' Ugh!!! Is it okay if I scream now?"

"Yea sure!!!" She laughed, cutting up her pancakes, and looked at them with a frown.

" I'm just kiddding. Okay, JC is flipping out cause he forgot to feed the cat."

"Already did." She said as she reached over to get the syrup.

"Ok great. Well be back in.. Three or four hours, okay?" He asked.

"Yea, sure.... bye now." She smiled and hung up the phone. As soon as she turned it off, it rung in her hand.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Is Justin there?"

"Who is this? I swear if you want to talk to him cause your sick mind wants him so badly, Im gonna have to scream !!" She yelled at the voice.

"What are you talking about Sarah?" The concerned voice asked. Sarah closed her eyes and cursed silently.

"Mrs. Harless, I am SO sorry, I thought you were a psyco teenager." She apologized. Wade cracked up.

"Thats okay honey, how are you?"

"Good thanks, ummm, I'm sorry. It's just me and Wade here cause the huys left for some photo thing, and the phone keeps ringing for JC and... yea, I'll stop now. So how are things?" She smiled, petting the cat that now rubbed against her legs.

"Great honey. Thanks for asking. I just wanted to know when Justin was coming home for vacation."

"Oh I can tell you that. Lemme see, I go back to school in three weeks, and they have a vacation a week before that, so the 23rd."

"Thanks Sarah. You tell Justin I said hi okay?"

"I sure will. Bye Mrs.Harless."

"Bye."

Later on

"Come on, come on!!!!!" Sarah yelled, throwing a fist in the air. Wade bit his bottom lip as he pushed the button on his controller as fast as he could. They were both sitting on the carpeted floor in the living room in front of a big screen tv. On the screen a racecar picked up speed. Sarah hopped up and down and laughed as Wade collapsed on the floor.

"Wade, no offence hun, but you suck at this." She smiled.

"I know. Thanks." He sighed, running a hand over his face. Sarah grabbed the controller from his hand and started the game again. The front door opened and Wade turned his head to see who it was.

"Better not be some freakin girl." Sarah muttered as she loudly tapped the keys.

"Helllllllloooo......" A voice called out.

"Give me strength..." Sarah said as she rolled her eyes. A blonde girl stepped into the room, wearing a halter-top and low cut jeans. Wade smiled when he saw her.

"Hi Britney, how did you get in?" He asked, confused.

"Oh!! Stinky gave me a key!!!" She laughed, extremely perky, leaning against the doorway, and waving the keys in her hand.

"Wwoonnddeerrffuull...." Sarah sighed.

"Oh, like- hhhiiiiii Sarah!!! I didnt see you there!!" Britney giggled.

"Like, hiiiiii Brit-nay!!!" She imitated her, never looking up from the screen.

"JC has such a nice house.... it's so.... QUAINT."

"Quaint," Sarah snickered, "Do you even know what that means?"

"Noooo.... Do I really have to though? It kinda sounded right." Britney nodded her head, agreeing with herself.

"Of course cause youre Britney Spears!!!" Sarah laughed along.

"Oh yea....Yea!!!! Now where did you get SUCH a cute shirt?"

"Weathervane," Sarah said, quickly glancing down at what she was wearing, "But I LOVE yours."

"Really? Me too!!!! I got it custom made well,.... Because I -like- can!!!" She began to laugh. Sarah joined her then quickly coughed a few times.

"Lordy, are you sick?" Britney asked.

"Yep... I must be allergic to something." She muttered. Wade looked back and forth between Sarah sitting next to him and Britney only a few feet away, not sure if a fight would soon break out.

"Really?..... Well, maybe it's these plants JC has." Britney said, both confused and worried.

"It's not the plants." Sarah said under her breath as Wade cleared his throat.

"Okaaaaay.... That's enough now. Britney, why are you here?" Wade asked.

"Oh yea!!! I forgot my coat here the other day, and stinky said I could come over and get it!!!... so I will!!!!" She left the room and Wade turned to look at Sarah.

"What is your problem?" Wade whispered.

"Nothing." Sarah hissed back then looked back at the screen as Britney came back.

"Okay, I really need to go now. Nice seeing you Wade. Bye now Sarah!!! Feel better." Britney waved.

"I will do just that. Dont let the door hit you on the way out." Sarah said.

"Oh,... oh no I wont cause it's not windy and it wont slam!!" Britney giggled.

"Ah. Yet another great comeback."

"Bye Brit." Wade said and glared at Sarah. The front door closed and Wade shook his head at her. Sarah continued playing the game and sighed.

"What?!"

"What the hell?!" He asked.

"I dislike her."

"Yea, no sh*t Sherlock." (Thats for Stacie)

"Okay. I REALLY dislike her." She laughed.

"Why?"

"Cause." She said and tapped the buttons. Wade just watched her and she sighed again.

I" don't like her cause she's such a slut, and lots of little girls look up to her, and she's totally brainwashing Justin." Sarah pushed the controller away.

"Reeeaaally." Wade said.

"Watch when Justin comes back. He'll want to know what she said and stuff. I'll show you." She said and leaned back on her hands. There was a knock on the front door and Wade began to get up.

"I'll get it." Sarah said, stood up and walked across the carpet to the big door. She looked through the peephole and smiled when she saw who it was. She opened the door and laughed.

"Well hello there cutie, what can I do for ya?" She laughed when she saw a little girl wearing a girl scouts uniform holding her moms hand on the doorstep.

"My name is Katie. I'm selling cookies for the girl scouts. Would you like to buy a box?" She asked, looking up at her mom, and her mother nodded her head.

"Of course I would." How old are you hun? Sarah asked, opening the door wider.

"Five." She smiled.

"Sure thing. Come on in. My names Sarah." She gestured them inside. The little girl looked up at her mother again and she nodded her head and followed her daughter inside.

"Wade!!!" Sarah yelled.

"
What???" Came a yell from down the hallway.

"Want some girl scout cookies?!!"

"Yea!!!! What kind???!!"

"I guess he's not getting up to come here....so..... How did you guys get in the gate?" Sarah asked the mother.

"Well, we needed to go to every house on this block," the mother said, "And the gate was open, so we didn't think anyone would mind.

"Oh that Britney. Well....if you come with me I'll get some more orders for ya." Sarah smiled and the mother agreed. They walked down the hall and into the large living room where Wade sat on the floor playing another video game.

"This person here is Wade. Want some cookies?" She asked him and he looked up.
"Hey I know you.... You were on tv!!!" Said the little girl.

"Really? Me? When?" Wade played along.

"You were dancing with Britney Spears on tv. I saw you." She smiled, and looked very proud of herself. Wade glanced over at Sarah and smiled at the little girl.

"You're right, I was on tv. But that's a secret, you can't tell anyone okay?" Wade asked and the girl nodded.

"And, I will buy ....let's see.... one...four....ten boxes. How about you Sarah?" He asked.

"Heck, me too. The guys will love that." She smiled. The mother looked between the two and was very confused.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"That's Wade Robson, the choreographer for Nsync and *gag* Britney Spears. I'm Sarah, Justin pimpin' Timberlake's best friend. This is JC's house." She smiled. The mother had a look of shock on her face and blinked a few times.

"Oh."  The woman said, looking over Sarah carefully.

"Right.  So I want ..hm.  I don't think anyone hates Thin Mint.  If they do, I don't like them anyway.  How much is it again?"  Sarah asked.

"You can pay when I bring them.  Come on Katie, we need to get going."

"Okay mommy.  Bye Mr. Wade!!" The girl smiled, waving goodbye to them as the mother dragged her daughter out of the house.  When the front door slammed shut, Sarah collapsed onto the couch laughing.

"I think we scared her."  She giggled.

"I think so too." Wade laughed.  Sarah watched as the girls car drove away, and the gate closed behind her.

"When do they get back?" Sarah asked.

"Umm-"

"Hello?  Sarah?  Wade?  You guys in here? "A familiar voice yelled from the back entrance.

"Hey Justin.  Were in here."  Sarah said without getting up off the couch.  Justin poked his head around the corner and smiled at her.

"Well hey.  Would you care to come with me to the movies?"  He asked, taking a seat next to her.

"Your charm doesnt work on me sweetheart."  She said, looking at his hand that lay on the armrest.  It had a big blue bruise on the back that neared his fingers.

"What'd you do?" She asked, pulling his hand towards her so she could look at it more closely.

"It's nothing."  Justin said, watching the concern on her face.

"Justin, it looks like you dropped a bus on it well, not a bus, but maybe-"

"A camera?" He asked.  Sarah looked up at him and frowned.

"How'd you drop a camera on your hand?"

"It fell over when we were doing the shoot.  No big deal."

"Yea, whatever Macho Guy."

"I'm FINE."

"Alright.  Hey, the slut stopped over."  Sarah said, leaning into Justins shoulder.  Wade stood up and left the room.  Justin turned and looked at her.

"Don't talk about her like that."

"My BAD.  I just thought, blonde, no clothes on, and blonde, so slut was the first word that came to mind.  That and ummm, nevermind.  She wasn't nice to me Justin.  You know I hate her."

"Yea I know you do."

"Why do you continue to go out with her?" Sarah asked, running her finger over the bruise on his hand.

"I like her a lot."

"For the obvious reasons no doubt."

"No, that's not it.  She's in the same situation I'm in.  It only made sense to go out."

"Right.  Anyways, she stopped by, left the gate open, and some girl and her mother selling Girl Scout cookies came to the door.  I think I scared her away though."  Sarah giggled.

"Who?  The girl or her mom?"  Justin asked.

"Her mother.  The girl was a sweetheart but her mother thought I was insane.  Her loss."

"I guess so."  Justin chuckled.

"I think I'm happy you cut off all your hair."

"You think so?"

"Yea."

"You should have seen the look on Kate's face when I walked in with no hair."  Justin laughed.

"Why what happened?" Sarah asked.

"I walked into the studio, and she was waiting for me, but she didnt recognize me, and she didn't have her glasses on, which I'm sure didnt help, but she had to come to stand next to me before she realized who I was."

"That poor woman."

"Why that poor woman?"

"She has to see you guys everyday of her life. "

"She loves us.  Also, she gets paid."

"I wish I got paid."

"Yea, well, you love us too."

"No, I think not."  Sarah grinned.

"Nuh-uh, you do.  Didn't your mom tell you not to lie?"

"Nah.  My mom told me to lie whenever I needed to."

"Good advise."

"Hell yes.  No more of that, lying is bad crap."  She said, laughing, remembering the many lectures from teachers she had gotten.

"Hey, do you want to go or what because the movie starts in half an hour." Justin said standing up.  Sarah sighed and slowly stood up, looking down at herself.

"I need to change."

"We're not going to go have tea or something, we're going to the movies.  You look fine, lets go."  He said, pulling on her arm.

"But-"

"No buts.  Come ON."  He said as he led her through the kitchen, then through the porch and onto the back yard.

"WHAT is your hurry?"  She asked.  Justin kept pulling on her hand until they reached the driveway and he opened the front door to his car.  He pulled out a small box with a bow on it and handed it carefully to Sarah.

"What is this? She asked, looking at him."

"Open it.  It's an early birthday present, or did you forget your birthday is tomorrow?"  Justin asked, smiling.

"Oh yea.  Um, okay.  Should I be frightened its moving?" She asked, slowly taking off the cover of the box.  She squealed in delight and looked up at Justin happily.

"It's-its-" She said, picking up a tiny gray kitten out of the box.

"Its a kitty!!!" She laughed, petting the top of its head gently.

"I called your mom, and she swore you never had a cat in your life.  I cannot believe her, but then again, lying is necessary according to her, but whatever. Happy birthday Sarah.  Her name's Faith."  Justin said, watching the reaction on Sarah's face.

"Hi Faith."  Sarah smiled, still petting the kitten.  Faith rubbed against her hand and purred.

"It's Faith for two reasons.  I know you love that name.  And, its Faith for the faith you have in me to come back after I've been away for so long.  You're my best friend Sarah.  No one will ever change that."  He grinned.  Sarah sniffled, and reached over and gave Justin a hug.  She smiled and he rocked her back and forth, pulling her into the air.

"I have Faith while you're away to keep me company.  Thank you Justin.  You know I love you."

"I'll love you forever Sarah.  Always."  He whispered into her ear.
